BoA officialy to enter U.S. Market! + NEW SINGLES

In a recent press conference held by SM Entertainment today on September 2, officials stated that BoA will be releasing an album in the United States and enter the US music industry. In another press conference titled Best of Asia, Bring on America which will be held at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul, BoA’s plans for the US market will be revealed.
The slogan Best of Asia, Bring on America, which is an acronym for “BoA,” will be used to most effectively join the US music industry. SM will set up headquarters in the US to aid BoA in this process.
Fredy says : Oh My God!! I can’t wait for this! I’m so excited!! hahaha will there any re-sing Korean or Japanese song? LOVE IT SO MUCH!!
NEW SINGLES
Koda Kumi’s 41st Single「TABOO」2008/10/08 Release!
About four months after MOON, Koda Kumi is back to show a danceable R&B tune. Her 41st single is an R&B-flavored dance number. The single will contain a remix, making it a total of two songs in five different versions.
The DVD will contain an MV in two different versions with a powerful dance
performance and a photo slideshow loaded valuable shots.

mihimaru GT’s 18th Single「幸せになろう」(Shiawase ni narou)
mihimaru GT will provide the theme song for a new dorama on NHK called “Shanghai Typhoon” (上海タイフーン). It starts on September 13th.
The single will be released on October 22nd - CD only, or CD+DVD.

Mid Year Rank should be done a month ago, but due to that damn mandarin course I just got time now! I made 3 Awards; Best 5 songs, 5 singles and 5 albums. All of them are produced in 2008. Each award will only contain artist’s best. So you won’t see two same names in 1 award (for eg. 2 BoAs in 1 TOP 5 singles be with you. and Vivid) it won’t ever happened here. There’s some songs that attract me more due to my taste that could be change when I hear a song more and more. But the more I listen to ALIVE and Once Again I just found more negative points in that songs.

Sparkling totally blow me up! And so do the rest. All five songs above are hugely recommended. Both Sparkling and Mirrorcle World have very excellent instrumentals that I love. Both also have strong aspects everywhere. Tokyo is very cool and groovy! Well it’s not dancy or what but it’s so enjoyable! I do enjoy this song so much. That Ain’t Cool is cool! LOL its sexiness and FERGIE are thumbs up! BLACK DIAMOND is still good though has a bit bored me down.

As I’ve mentioned, I’ve fell to Life that what makes Mirrorcle World won. Though Vivid has Sparkling and Joyful Smile, they lose in number. Mirrorcle World has its title to play with Sparkling, Life with Joyful Smile, Depend on You with Kissing you but YOU has no competitor. Koda Kumi’s MOON’s quality just decreased in my ears because of Once Again, and I think Moon Crying already a bit boring, good song shouldn’t be easily bored me. Giri Giri HERO’s Koisuru Kimochi is a bit boring though I loved Giri Giri HERO and BOW WOW SYSTEM GO. Namie’s 60s70s80s‘ only powerful power is what a feelin’ for me, both Rock Steady and New Look is OK, just OK.
Top 5 Albums
The ultimate battle between Artists, and the winner is BoA’s THE FACE with so many, wait it’s all of the song in this album is good though there’s a song or two in mid quality. The first runner up is mihimarise, just like THE FACE a couple songs in mid quality. GUILTY is super cool except GUILTY itself, it’s not bad but don’t really suit my ears. The Singles from fakin’ pop were good but the rest of the new songs are not that catchy, but not all of it. The last is HEART STATION, kind of confused cause I’ve never liked this album, I just listened it for maybe three times then I go with new fresher songs.

MOON : 4 elements is Koda Kumi’s 40th Single was relased on 11th June 2008 that peaked on the second position in Oricon daily chart. It’s her 1st single that contains 4 songs after FREAKY. FERGIE and PUSHIM (Japanese reggae singer) also participated in this single. FERGIE wrote That Ain’t Cool featuring herself. PUSHIM participated in Once Again.

REVIEW :
01. Moon Crying
I love the beginning of this song, the piano is WHOAH! Blow me away. The verses are well-filled. The chorus sounds so tragic and touching. The instrumental also did a good job on building a strong chorus up. But except the piano, the rest of the instrumentals leave the verses alone though it’s so good when it reaches the chorus part, but I think they should put more orchestra in it’s verses. They put so much glittery voice in it. Although I’ve never really loved Koda Kumi’s voice, some of this song’s part touches me.

02. That Ain’t Cool feat. FERGIE
Well, I think this song is my favorite song from the whole single. It’s sexy! And I love FERGIE’s sexy voice in every part, in the chorus ultimately! The problem is Koda Kumi who tried to sounds sexy with her English. Well it’s not bad, but I think It would be better if she do rap in Japanese! That Ain’t Cool! LOL I loved her previous Japanese rap. About the Instrumental, well this hot and sexy song filled with very very cool synthetics. I found a miss-placed glittery chime. Well it’s not annoying at all. I love the lyrics and this song also ends with sexy eastern music style! LOVE IT!

03. Once Again
The least best song in this single. It’s a reggae song. But I think her voice just won’t calm us down just like the other reggae songs do. Some pressure she did on her voice is annoying. My favorite part from this song is when she sings “Once again, once again” part. She did a good vibrating there. And I love the popish reggae combination in the bridge part! It’s a good but not a great song.

04. Lady Go!
I love songs that begin with catchy chorus! Lady Go! Has that element in it. She sings a cute verses, it’s not boring at all and it also leads the song into a good chorus! It’s like the 2nd version of BoA’s Sparkling, though BoA’s is better LOL. The Instrumental is damn cool! I love every single of them! Drums and some soft pianos, the synths are also sounds super! But when I try to listen it over and over it sounds quite boring but still enjoy it.

MOON filled with high quality songs! Well it’s Koda Kumi’s single that always amaze us with such a unique concept. I love this single!

Well, Avex came with another random compilation albums, it’s Koi No Uta (Love songs). it’s including, ayumi hamasaki, Koda Kumi, mihimaru GT, DREAMS SOME TRUE, m-flo, Every Little Thing, etc. Just a note they put ayumi hamasaki’s BLUE BIRD, Koda Kumi’s ai no uta and Go My Way, mihimaru GT’s Koisuru Kimochi. It just a big shock for me that avex didn’t put BoA’s song suh as LOVE LETTER, lol thay just don’t know how to make a compilation album and know how to raise money so well. LOL~ I’m not getting this album!

Well, Koda Kumi’s Moon Crying just popped out yesterday, just like I the song is great
Moon Crying
The storyline is sad, quite touching. But there’s something that I can’t love, such as her act when she is crying. No offense she looks fake but not in all of them. The part when she is crying in front of the aquarium is cool. Hahaha. It has many settings and outfits but none of them is really work on me, all of them is just normal. And There’s one black outfit that doesn’t really match the PV. BTW her new style is cute. Well just like BoA’s Vivid’s Videos, nothing really impressed me. but still enjoyable and good.

I’m saying, It’s more like FERGIE feat. Koda Kumi, and seriously, Koda Kumi looks more bitchy. One more, FERGIE acts weird on the table… She does many weir poses. unlike FERGIE, Koda Kumi uses more bitchy poses. Hahaha no many settings and scenes but yeah the hotness helps this PV so much. Though it looks hot but hell, can’t give too high score since it doesn’t really attract me except the hotness :-p Hahaha HAWT!
